NOT READY TO LEAVE YETIf you are experiencing domestic violence you may not feel ready to move yet. However there are things you can do to stay as safe as possible within your relationship. If you can, talk to a friend or family member and let them know what is happening, and ask if you can safely go there if necessary. If you feel you may be attacked try to stay in parts of the house which have an exit, try to keep out of 'dangerous' areas, e.g kitchen or bathroom where you may be locked in. If you have children teach them how to make a 999 call in case of emergencies. Make a safety plan, pack an emergency bag incase you need to leave quickly, maybe you are able to arrange to leave this with a friend or family member. Call us on 01788 537112 If you are in immediate danger call 999 The police take Domestic Violence seriously. If you want to stay in your home but want your partner to leave there are things you can do. Please call us on the above number to talk about your options.
